Beautiful Scenery

There is plenty to visit in the local area with Bodenham lakes and Queenswood Country Park just down the road. If you’re lucky, you may get a glimpse of the deer by the river or crossing the road. The area is fantastic for walking and cycling and the pub openly welcomes dogs…we may even provide a treat or two to well behaived dogs!!

Sunday Lunch

Sunday lunch is a speciality at The Railway and we are regularly fully booked. Early reservations are highly recommended. Our beef is cooked pink and is either topside, rump or sirloin. Yorkshire puds and parsnips are served with all roast meats, yes even lamb, pork loin, turkey and gammon. Meats are lean and tender with a different gravy made for each that morning. We also offer a full gluten free roast….with a Yorkshire pudding!!

Finest Produce

Although not a campsite, we very much welcome self-contained camper vans to stay by the river in exchange for a meal in the pub. Our main menu is supported by a number of chefs specials, changing daily, cooked with only the finest local meats and produce. A full range of wines, real ales, local ciders, lagers, spirits and hot drinks are also available.
